RESTORE THE SPLENDOUR
OF THE EIGHTEENTH CENTURY

RESTORE THE SPLENDOUR
OF THE EIGHTEENTH CENTURY

At the heart of the Louvre, the Objets d'art department has almost
22,000 pieces, of which only 8,000 are on display due to their extreme fragility.

Dedicated to the 18th century, the Cressent rooms in the Richelieu
wing are among the most confidential in the museum.

The renovation made possible by Parfums de Marly focuses on the
general scenography to enhance the visitor experience, as well as the
restoration of some of the furniture by Charles Cressent.
