The damascena rose, a veritable treasure of Haute Parfumerie, embodies the very essence of sophistication. This exceptional rose is at the heart of some of the Maison's most iconic creations, including the Delina family.

Grown in ideal conditions, the damascena rose is harvested by hand at dawn, when the dew keeps it fresh, and then distilled with precision to preserve all the richness of its fragrance.

It takes no less than 4,000 kilograms of fresh roses to obtain just 1 litre of damascena rose essence, a painstaking process that guarantees a fragrance of unrivalled intensity.

Parfums de Marly's damascena rose is not just an ingredient: it is the beating heart of the creations, offering a floral signature of rare elegance.

Oud is one of the rarest and most precious raw materials in Haute Parfumerie.

This emblematic ingredient, found in Layton Exclusif and Haltane, embodies luxury and elegance through its depth and richness of scent.

Derived from the heart of an agarwood, oud is formed after centuries of natural transformation, a process that makes each drop a rarity. Its intense, resinous, woody fragrance gives each composition a complex dimension, somewhere between mystery and warmth.

Natural oud is an ingredient deeply rooted in oriental traditions, but it finds its place in the modern world of Parfums de Marly, adding a unique and unforgettable character to each fragrance.

A true symbol of prestige, natural oud embodies the quintessence of luxury and the art of perfumery.

Bourbon vanilla is a precious and universal raw material. Intimately linked to the world of Parfums de Marly, the Madagascar Bourbon vanilla at the heart of Althaïr is the direct descendant of the first vanilla introduced to France in the 18th century.

It was at this time that, like cocoa, vanilla was brought back from Mexico and introduced into the royal greenhouses at Versailles.

Nicknamed ‘black gold’ by perfumers, Bourbon vanilla has a rich, smooth and warm character, making it an essential ingredient in our creations. Its complexity, between sweetness and depth, gives each fragrance a unique and timeless signature.

Bourbon vanilla is extracted from the pods of a plant closely related to the orchid, a process that requires patience and expertise. Its cultivation and harvesting are delicate and rigorous practices, carried out by hand to guarantee the highest quality. This vanilla, a true royal heritage, continues to enhance our creations and fuel our quest for luxury and elegance.

planet's natural resources, reducing its dependence on rare raw
materials and using alternatives that respect the environment.

Parfums de Marly thus combines the art of traditional perfumery with
the technologies of tomorrow, to offer fragrances that are more

OF EXCELLENCE

OF EXCELLENCE

Just like the creation of our perfumes, each Parfums de Marly bottle reflects our savoir-faire and our quest for excellence.

Made in the north of France, in a workshop classified as a ‘Living Heritage Company’, the glass bottles reflect over two hundred years of expertise.

In a mould sanded by hand to accurately reproduce the details of the curves, mouldings or coat of arms, the molten glass takes shape, before being dressed in its noble metal cap and box, reflecting the elegance and refinement of the Maison.
